Your income is your business. GratuityWise is built so that we never see your data at all. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. GratuityWise has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
You never create an account or log in. This is deliberate: a login is the single most common way other tip apps lose people's history. With no account, there is nothing to lock you out of and nothing for a failed sign-in to wipe.
Everything you enter in GratuityWise (your shifts, jobs, tips, and notes) is stored on your device. If iCloud is available, your data is also stored in your personal, private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to it.
GratuityWise never connects to your bank, your employer, or any payment system. You type in your own numbers. Your income figures never leave your phone unless you choose to export them.
The one-time Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple, through your App Store account. We receive no payment details.
You can export your full shift history as CSV at any time from Settings, free, and erase everything by deleting the app (and removing GratuityWise data from iCloud in iOS Settings).
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
